The Sussex Gardens Trust was formed in 1995

  • Currently it has over 220 members across Sussex
  • It is one of 35 similar county trusts.
  • Like other garden trusts, SGT is also a member of the national organisation "The Gardens Trust"
  • Our purpose: to explore and record our legacy of gardens and parks.

We are both a Charity (Registered Charity No. 1052734 regulated by the Charity Commission) and a Company limited by guarantee (Registered in England and Wales No. 3149760 - regulated under the Companies Acts).

SGT is governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association
